About Me...Micaela
My name is Micaela Rossano.... 39 years ago I was born in Rome, by parents who were tourists themselves in Rome!! Moreover they were always talking different languages! As a result I got a degree in foreign languages, and then I travelled a lot - working as a flight attendant, and discovering my deep passion for art, history and.... talking! On the year 2000, after attending the Institute of the Roman Studies, I started guiding friends, and foreigners... And now it is rewarding to me as an offical guide, to see people on tour beginning to appreciate my city with new eyes, and with the same love I have for Rome.
Testimonial
"Micaela
proved to be the ideal tour director for our high school group's first trip to
Italy. She was as knowledgeable about the sites we visited as a school or
university professor; she has a well developed perspective of European history;
she possesses an excellent speaking voice, and is fluent in English, French and
Italian; she is organized, thorough, and responsive to unforeseen circumstances;
she relates comfortably with both adults and students; most of all, Micaela is
passionate about communicating her love for Italy, its art and architecture and
people. I recommend her highly for both student and adult groups."
